ConstructAhead — Return & Refund Policy

ConstructAhead is an Australian digital construction software business operated by Alan George Wust, ABN 14 608 767 441.

We aim to provide reliable digital tools, systems and services that operate as described.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

1. Digital products

ConstructAhead products are supplied digitally through the ConstructAhead application unless expressly stated otherwise.

Digital purchases may include individual construction tools, software access, licences, subscriptions and integrated systems.

No physical products are shipped.

2. Change-of-mind refunds

ConstructAhead does not offer voluntary change-of-mind refunds.

This includes circumstances where a customer:

• Changes their mind after purchasing.
• Purchases a product they no longer require.
• Decides not to use a purchased product.
• Accidentally purchases the wrong product.

This policy does not affect a customer's rights under Australian Consumer Law, including where a product was misdescribed or does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

3. Faulty products and access problems

If a purchased tool or service is faulty, does not operate as described, fails to activate or becomes inaccessible, customers should contact ConstructAhead.

Please provide your order number, a description of the issue and any relevant supporting information.

ConstructAhead will investigate and assist with resolving the issue.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable Australian Consumer Law, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or compensation.

Where the law gives a customer the right to choose a refund, ConstructAhead will not require them to accept a repair, replacement or store credit instead.

4. Australian Consumer Law

Our products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law where that law applies.

Where a product has a major failure, an eligible customer may be entitled to reject the product and choose a refund or replacement.

For failures that are not major, ConstructAhead may be entitled to remedy the problem within a reasonable time. If the problem is not remedied as required by law, further remedies may become available.

Nothing in this policy limits any right to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage where applicable.

5. Subscriptions and cancellations

Customers may cancel recurring subscriptions in accordance with the cancellation process and billing conditions disclosed when they subscribe.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund for a billing period already commenced, unless required by Australian Consumer Law or expressly agreed by ConstructAhead.

Any applicable consumer guarantees and statutory remedies continue to apply.

6. Lifetime-access products

Where a product is advertised as providing lifetime access, the meaning and scope of that access are governed by the product description and applicable purchase terms.

ConstructAhead will honour its representations about access and all obligations arising under Australian Consumer Law.

Lifetime access does not remove a customer's statutory rights if the product fails to meet applicable consumer guarantees.

7. Misuse and unauthorised modifications

A remedy may not be available where a problem was caused solely by misuse, deliberate damage, unauthorised modification or use contrary to reasonable instructions.

This does not affect rights relating to separate faults or failures that were not caused by that conduct.

8. Refund processing

Where a refund is approved or required by law, it will generally be returned to the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
